Team USA will be facing Team China in Rio Olympics Men’s basketball tournament on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Though Team USA is predicted to win the game, Team China is expected to be more aggressive and show the strength of the FIBA Asia Champions.
China managed to enter the 2016 Rio Olympics by winning the FIBA Asia Championship. Yi Jianlian led the Chinese national team to go 8-0 in the tournament, taking down India, Iran and Philippines. Using their towering height and young talents, China claimed the gold and the spot in Olympics.
China has faced the Team USA in two exhibition games where they both lost by a combined 99 points. However, with this two games, the team might come up with a strategic plan to stop the dominance of the Americans.

Forwards: Yi Jianlin, Zhou Qi, Zhai Xiaochuan, Ding Yanyuhang, Zou Yuchen

Meanwhile, despite missing some NBA superstars, Team USA has been the most favorite to win the gold. They still gathered the best available players in the NBA who are expected to go all out every game. Coach Mike Krzyzewski is requiring his player to establish a higher level of the game and not to underestimate any opponent.

Yi Jianlian, Zhou Qi and Wang Zhelin are expected to lead the Team China in their first game against the Team USA. Jianlin and Zhelin can provide a huge contribution on the offensive end while Zhou Qi should step up as their rim protector.

Team USA is expected to win over Team China by 30+ points. This team will go all out from the start till the end of the game. Most of their players are very eager to win the gold so it is expected that Team USA will not be going easy against Team China.
