Boxing news became rejuvenated with Manny Pacquiao ‘s victory over Jessie Vargas, with names of possible future opponents lining up for the next big fight. Among them are Amir Khan and Kell Brook, but they have unfinished business between themselves too.

Amir Khan is calling out his former stable mate Manny Pacquiao for quite some time now, but it looks like Floyd Mayweather and Terence Crawford (both in attendance in Manny Pacquiao vs Vargas) are in the running for the next showdown.

Will Amir Khan vs Kell Brook finally happen in 2017?

Kell Brook holds the IBF welterweight title and plans to make a unifying bout versus Manny Pacquiao who’s now the new WBO champion. But he’s still open to fighting his long rival Amir Khan, whom he says likes to talk about the fight, but hasn’t made any concrete action to finally make it happen.

“With got some big names, Amir Khandashian, he is still there.” Kell Brook said of Amir Khan according to SkySports.

“People are talking about us fighting, he said he wants that fight and like I have said, I’ll meet him at welterweight if he actually wants to get in and stop talking about it.”

Amir Khan is not lacking in confidence and has been calling out all the best fighters in his division from Manny Pacquiao to Floyd Mayweather, and ended up fighting Canelo Alvarez, losing by KO in the sixth round.

“We need to sit down, get it signed and get it done for the fans.” Kell Brook added as if to end it once and for all.

“Manny Pacquiao, Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman are fighting and I am top of that pile, I am looking forward to getting a top fight made.”

Boxing news reveals that Kell Brook has been struggling to make the welterweight limit, and that could be a factor if he indeed facing Amir Khan who’s known for his speed, movement, yet with a suspect chin.

Kell Brook went up in weight, a decision experts considered unsafe and reckless, to fight Gennady Golovkin for the WBC, IBF, and IBO middleweight titles. He was stopped in the fifth round
