Terence Crawford has called out Danny Garcia on social media and the undefeated boxer says he can climb in weight to 147 pounds (welterweights) so they can meet in the ring in the future.

Crawford had fighting words for Garcia on Twitter and it could lead to the two undefeated Americans facing each other in the next few months.

“Tell yo dad make the fight and I’ll show him how much of a paper champ I am at yo weight and for yo belt,” Crawford posted as a reply to Garcia.

Crawford was not pleased with Angel Garcia, the father and trainer of Danny Garcia, who reportedly made some negative comments against the American boxer in recent interviews.

“Listen, I didn’t even watch that [expletive], man. I ain’t wasting my money. I ain’t wasting money. Listen, HBO should be embarrassed,” Angel Garcia said in a Fight Hype interview referring to the Terence Crawford vs Viktor Postol fight last July 23.

Angel Garcia also apparently called Terence Crawford a “make believe champion” and this is the reason why Crawford went on a Twitter rant against the Garcias.

Crawford beat Postol via 12 round unanimous decision win to gain the World Boxing Council (WBC) and retain the World Boxing Organization (WBO) super lightweight titles. Meanwhile, Danny Garcia won the vacant WBC welterweight belt over Robert Guerrero last January 23 via unanimous decision as well.

Garcia has a record of 32-0-0 with 18 knockouts while Crawford is 29-0-0 with 20 knockouts in his boxing career. A fight between the two undefeated Americans will be a popular one either in the super lightweight or welterweight divisions.
