As America’s Got Talent Season 11 slates its return on Tuesday, the lucky seven will be determined in the semi-final round. Among the 12 contestants, the 12-year-old singer-songwriter, Grace VanderWaal, is already predicted to proceed to the final round.
From the moment she entered the stage, she impressed the judges and gave her a standing ovation. Albeit she’s hesitant about her performance and relied only with “miracles,” they were stunned to how she conquered and captured the judges and audience’s hearts with her original composition, “I don’t know my name” while playing her ukulele.
Surprisingly, Howard Mandel promised she’ll be well-recognized around the world as a great entertainer. And to make that possible, he pressed the Golden Buzzer and led the young girl straight to the live shows.
In addition to that, Simon Cowell told this young girl about her fate in the music industry. He predicted she’ll follow Taylor Swift’s footsteps that left the young lass speechless. Nick Canon, the show host, asked her the same question backstage. But she just smiled and completely overwhelmed.
What’s more surprising was both of these judges discussed about how special she is and how could she excel in the show business. “I’m now annoyed why I didn’t press the Golden Buzzer,” Cowell told his fellow judges.
In our previous report, we wrote that among the 12 remaining participants she’s the strongest candidate to escape elimination. That being said, it’s already predicted she’ll successfully win the next round and proceed to the final round.
On Tuesday, she’ll be performing with Malevo (Argentinian all male dance team), Vello Vaher (52-year-old contortionist), The Passing Zone (jugglers), Blake Vogt (27-year-old magician) and Linkin Bridge (Acapella singers).
Moreover, Kadan Bart Rockett (10-year-old magician), Julia Scotti (63-year-old comedian), Edgar (music band), Alla and Daniel (mother and son dance group), Brian Justin Crum (singer) and Ronee (singer) will also be performing live on stage this week.
Whoever wins from the elimination round will join the 14 contestants who successfully got into the semi-final round. The judges, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel, will only choose seven more participants to comprise America’s Got Talent Season 11 semi- finalists.
They include Lori Mae Hernandez (stage comedian), Deadly Games (stunt couple), Viktor Kee (juggler), Sofie Dossi (teen contortionist), Musicality (choir group), Steven Brundage (Rubik’s cube genius), Tape Face, Jon Dorenbos (magicians), The Clairvoyants (mentalist duo), Laura Bretan (opera singer), Claysta Bevier (singer), Kadie Lynn (singer-guitarist), Jayna Brown (singer), and Sal Valentinetti (jazz singer).
