With the success of the Marvel superhero series on Netflix, Marvel chief Kevin Paige has some positive updates on the possibility that Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist makes the cut for the hero list for “Avengers: Infinity War” set for release in 2018.

Paige stated in a recent interview while promoting new Marvel movie “Doctor Strange” that he welcomes the possible arrival of “The Defenders”, the New York City-based street superheroes for the Marvel super movie in two years.

However, the Marvel head also admitted that the timing would be difficult and that if any of Daredevil and company makes an appearance it wouldn’t just be on a “cameo” role.

“I think it’s extremely impressive what Netflix has done and it will be the same answer I always give, which is, “It all depends on timing,” Paige stated in an interview with wegotthiscovered.com.

“It all depends on how to do it because I don’t think what anybody wants to do is have such important characters show up for one second. Black Panther and Spider-Man to me are the high bar in Civil War of how you can bring in new characters into something. Vision and Ultron, Wanda and Pietro in Ultron. And it takes a lot of screentime, and it takes a lot of work. Infinity War has a lot of people in it already. So it just depends on how we could figure it out.”

The Russo brothers, Anthony and Joseph, previously stated in an interview last month that they could consider adding more Marvel characters, which according to rumors number to about 66 to 68 heroes or villains already.

“We do consider everyone… We don’t want to get too specific about what’s going to happen with these movies. We want these movies to be a surprise for audiences,” the Russo brothers stated last September to the Toronto Sun.

All of the Netflix Marvel series have gained critical acclaim from fans. Daredevil, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones had successful first seasons and Iron Fist and The Defenders releases are set in the next two years.

The Russo brothers first and then Paige confirming the possibility that Avengers: Infinity War could welcome Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist. This has a chance to become the greatest superhero movie ever made basing on the volume of the characters and the cast in recent updates.
