The official trailer for the live action remake of “Beauty and the Beast” has just been released starring Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast. The two-minute trailer showed some stunning visuals suggesting to viewers that the show is worth the wait.
In line with that, we have taken 10 screenshots from the trailer so you don’t need to pause and play the video.
Aside from Watson and Stevens, the cast also includes Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Luke Evans as Gaston, and Josh Gad as LeFou. Beauty and the Beast is set to be released in March 2017.
Just like the animated version, the movie follows the story of Belle who was forced to live in the Beast’s palace in place of his father. Despite her initial fears, she befriended the enchanted staff of the castle and before long, also the Beast.
As Belle gets to know him, she realized that beneath the scary and furry exterior lies a kind heart. A love between them began to blossom. However, their happy life got threatened by the pompous Gaston who convinced the villagers to attack the castle and kill the Beast.
The scenes in the trailer were really true to the version and felt like the characters themselves were the animated version who suddenly came to life. Here are some of those scenes:
