Beyonce played matchmaker role as she helped her dance captain’s boyfriend do his proposal at her The Formation World Tour event in St. Louis, Saturday.
It was a sight to remember for Ashley Everett as she was unaware of what was to happen. Beyonce lined up together with Everett for the song “Single Ladies.” In the middle of the song, Beyonce asked the audience if anyone wanted to join her on stage. This was now the cue for John Silver to get on stage and get the microphone from Beyonce.

John strolled around her woman, went down on his knees and popped the question. Everett was lost for words as the crowd giggled when she said yes. John was then to put the ring on Everett’s hands when Beyonce tried to cut in. But realizing what was going on Beyonce stepped back and let the couple had their thing.
Beyonce then approached the couple and congratulated them on their engagement. To close the performance, Beyonce together with Everett and the rest of the dancers continued to do the song that totally had a meaning now for Everett.

Daily Mail reported that Everett was one of the two dancers with Beyonce in the music video for the song “Single Ladies” when it went on top of the charts in 2008. Aside from Beyonce, Everett also does back up dancing for Robin Thicke, Ciara, La Toya Jackson and Jennifer Lopez.
On a sad note, Beyonce has announced that her World Tour, which will have its stop at The MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sept.14 is canceled. Beyonce announced that her doctors recommended her for a vocal rest after she stressed it during her 35th birthday celebration.
During that Soul Train-themed party in New York, NYPD officers barged in around 1:30 a.m. following a noise complaint about a loud music in the area. Rumors are swirling that Beyonce might have stressed her vocals during that party. Beyonce had her sister Solange as well as Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams, Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Jourdan Dunn and Usher as guests.
The MetLife Stadium in an official statement assured fans that their tickets will still be honored when Beyonce’s World Tour hits New Jersey on Oct 7. Since then, Everett and her fiancée will have time to spend celebrating their engagement.
