Marshall Bruce Mathers III is back. The rapper, who is much known professionally as Eminem, announces his return to the music industry with a new aggressively minimal track Campaign Speech.
The rapper/songwriter/producer revealed earlier to his 20.8 million followers on Twitter that he is “working on an album” and celebrated the announcement by dropping a politically charged track in which he discusses GOP presidential aspirant Donald Trump, Colin Kaepernick, police violence and a whole lot of celebrities.
Don't worry I'm working on an album! Here's something meanwhile. https://t.co/QX3cdpqFD2

The freestyle rap song, called Campaign Speech, features multisyllabic, complex rhyme schemes with a minimal beat. The rap god pulls no punches, saying how he would like to put Trayvon Martin’s shooter George Zimmerman, who sparked the Black Lives Matter movement, in an “orange uniform.”
The Lose Yourself rapper also calls Trump a “loose cannon,” who is “blunt with his hand on the button,” a reference to the concern of critics who fear that Trump is short tempered and most likely launch nuclear weapons should he become president.
The track was uploaded Wednesday morning and debuted on his SiriusXM channel, Shade 45, during Sway in the Morning (Oct. 19).
There is no official announcement yet if the track will be part of the rap god’s new album as it sounds more like a freestyle verse showcasing his lyrical genius rather than a regular rap song with a loud beat but it offers a taste of what’s in store for the fans with an announcement that Slim Shady is back.
Eminem also did not reveal when his new album will be released although rumors are swirling that it will be called “Roots” and will feature collaborations with an stellar group of multi-talented rappers and singers.
Among those rumored artists include Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, and among others and reportedly has 12 new tracks, according to the online outlet thegamersdrop.
Although an Eminem new album has no release date yet, fans are already excited to hear new tracks from Slim Shady specially an official announcement was made by the rapper himself.
It has been 3 years since The Marshall Mathers LP 2 was released and it’s about time the rapper makes his return to the music industry.
