Looks like reality TV star and model Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Tyga is in real trouble.
Tyga has been accused of sending an underage girl uncomfortable texts during his relationship with Kylie. However, the girl got accused of being the reason for Kylie and Tyga’s brief split following an article on Ok! magazine.
And now the 14 year old girl, Molly O’Malia, an aspiring model and singer, has come forward to put her side of the story.
At a press conference on Monday, Molly accompanied by her attorney, Gloria Allred and her mother fought back tears and said that Tyga and she did trade messages but Tyga’s suggestion that they FaceTime made her uncomfortable, reports Mail Online.
Following Tyga’s suggestion, she ended contact with the 26 year old rapper, revealed Molly.
The contact between Tyga and Molly was cited as a reason for Kylie and Tyga’s brief split drawing negative attention to the teenager. A blurred photograph of the ninth grader and a copy of some of her and Tyga’s private messages accompanied the story in the December 28 edition of OK Magazine.
Though the article did not identify her, the teen told reporters that “a lot of people” recognised her Instagram image, according to the report.
“She feels that she needs to speak out and so does her mom, people need to be accountable,” Gloria said at the press conference, which was live streamed by TMZ.
“I know that Tyga has music coming out this month, Gone Too Far, and I think he’s gone too far with this,” she added.
Molly insisted that she did not pass any of Tyga’s messages to the media.
“Even though OK Magazine pixelated my face and did not use my name, a lot of people could tell it was me,” Molly said at the conference.
The messages saw Tyga compliment Molly’s looks, and ask if she was ever in the Los Angeles area.
Molly also revealed that because of the incident, she has received lots of flak and negative attention from people: “As a result of the story and the photo, I received a lot of negative attention, not only from people in my own state but from all over the place. I don’t deserve the negative attention I have been getting as a result of this photo.”
“I would never have allowed OK Magazine or any other magazine to use them,” Molly insisted.
“I am speaking out today because I don’t want what happened to me to happen to any other young girl.”
She then threw the biggest bomb revealing that Tyga contacted her first and messaged her on Instagram: “The truth is that Tyga contacted me first. He direct messaged me on Instagram.”
“I began to feel uncomfortable when he asked me to FaceTime with him. He asked me to FaceTime 3 times, but I did not do it.”
“Because of my discomfort with why he wanted to communicate with me I quickly stopped responding to him. It’s crazy how so much can come out of nothing.”
Tyga and Kylie briefly ended their romance when he celebrated his birthday on November 19 without the reality star. They however, soon reconciled, and he joined Kylie’s family for their Christmas celebrations.
