British actress Helen Mirren appeared in a Super Bowl 50 commercial for Budweiser. In the commercial, Mirren condemned those who drink and drive.

In the ad, the 70-year-old Helen Mirren is seen sitting in a classy booth with a hamburger in front of her. She is also seen drinking a Budweiser. Mirren goes on to warn the Americans not to drink and drive.

The most intimidating feature of the ad is how politely Helen Mirren insults the drunk-drivers. She calls them “shortsighted, utterly useless, oxygen-wasting human form of pollution”.

Although quite direct and aggressive in terms of speech, the manner in which Mirren delivers her dialogue proves her class and authority over the entire issue.

“If you drive drunk you simply put, are a shortsighted, utterly useless, oxygen-wasting human form of pollution; a Darwin award deserving selfish coward. If your brain was donated to science, science would return it. So stop it.” Mirren said in the advertisement.

“This is supposed to be fun!” Mirren says while ending her short speech, reminding everyone that the ad was supposed to be fun as well and was not intended to hurt anyone’s feelings.
