Janet Jackson pulls off Unbreakable tour, creates panic as fans want refund

Janet Jackson has called off her Unbreakable World Tour.

Janet Jackson might have triggered and an angry mob as fans of her “Unbreakable World Tour” are airing their frustrations after she pulled off from her concert tour citing that she is “starting a family.”

TMZ reported that the “Rhythm Nation” singer-songwriter announced Wednesday that she is postponing the tour with no definite date of her return. Ticketmaster has sent an email to ticket holders saying that they have not yet received any official word about the cancellation, thus no refunds will be given.

The announcement pissed off fans as they are being denied refunds as several venues for the supposed tour have yet to receive an official word of the tour’s cancellation or if it will be moved to a later date. Jackson’s camp has not yet rolled out new dates or if the tour will still push through depending on Janet’s condition.

NYDaily reported that the 49-year old Jackson posted on her Twitter account a video explaining to her condition and explanation for the cancellation of her on and off the world tour. She stated that she was advised by her doctors “rest up.” However, she hasn’t stated in the video as when will the fans wait for her comeback and if they would get any refunds after months of waiting and reserving tickets for the concert.

“Please, if you can, try to understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up — doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you,” Jackson said.

Though some fans supported and understood her, on her decision to call off the concert tour, but most of the fans want their money back, calling Jackson to be sensitive to her fans and tell ticket sellers to give them a refund.

The Dailymail reported that the only show that was cancelled was the one that was to take place at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. Thus, dismissing the fact that the whole concert was called off, in short it was just postponed, but still Jackson fans are calling for either a refund or have her retire.

Jackson tied the knot with billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana way back in 2012 and they are trying to start a family ever since.
