Despite taking a two-week hiatus from TV, NCIS: Los Angeles still manages to engage its fans through the next best thing-spoilers. And with a lot of time to theorize on the possible on the possible reveals and twists in the fourth episode of this season.
Episode four will obviously take off from where episode three left off, most notably with Kensi (Daniela Ruah) still in the intensive care unit (ICU) after her helicopter crash in the season premiere. Fans will also recall that this also prompted Granger (Miguel Ferrer) to force back Nell (Renee Felice Smith).
Rumors are also suggesting that Nell will be the one saving the day, with episode four’s title, Black Market, providing a clue for fans. This may mean that Nell will be seeing a lot more action, as well, since she is generally known as the intelligence analyst who works with Eric Beale in the squad room.
Her character has also been on quite a roll in the past few episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles, most notably her role in taking down suspects in episode two of this season. According to sources, the episode four synopsis also tells of Nell’s bigger involvement in nabbing a “notorious Triad assassin” who poisoned a Homeland Security agent.
These details have also added to the speculation that Nell is now being poised to be the replacement of Kensi. Coupled with being labelled as the person with the “highest IQ at NCIS,” this theory may hold true as the season progresses.
Meanwhile, the synopsis of episode five of NCIS: Los Angeles is also out, with the title Ghost Gun. According to reports, the episode will feature the return of Bar Paly who will reprise her role as Anna Kolcheck.
Kolcheck, who shares an amicable relationship with G. Callen (Chris O’Donnell), is also suspected to develop feelings for Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) in season eight. But then again, this is still all speculation, and fans end up seeing Kolcheck end up with Callen, instead.
In the meantime, stay tuned for more NCIS: Los Angeles updates and spoilers.
