Nicki Minaj set rumours mills running once again on Wednesday as she posted pictures of a massive diamond sparkler on her wedding finger.
Nicki showed off the huge diamond ring on Instagram with the words: “Now this is what I’m talking about baby. Lol. Love u”
In a separate image Nicki showed off the cushion cut diamond along with a perfect pink manicure writing: “This stone is flawless. (My voice) lol”, once again teasing fans with no clear indication of any wedding plans in the near future.
And by Thursday morning Nicki Minaj confirmed with Billboard that her boyfriend Meek Mill had in fact given her the choicest piece of jewellery but denied talks of any engagement.
The 33-year-old, who goes topless on the cover of the magazine, was at her best for the interview and even teased a possible future wedding to her rapper beau.
In the interview with Billboard magazine, Nicki says: “Meek gave me that. He and I are not engaged.”
But almost after an afterthought, Nicki complicated things by saying: “But he said he would like to give me three rings before we get married.’
Nicki also revealed in the interview that Beyonce and Jay Z gave the couple relationship advice: “We actually spoke with Jay Z and Beyoncé about it, too.”
“After our show at [Brooklyn’s] Barclays Center [in October], we had dinner together. They were so giving with advice. I love them so much. It was just a beautiful conversation to have with people we love and we look up to as a couple. They’re so strong.”
Happily announcing that she and Mee are enjoying each other’s company, Nicki says in the interview: “I don’t know what’s going to happen with he and I. I just know right now we are really, really enjoying each other’s company.”
Meanwhile, Meek could face jail time if his probation is revoked.
Meek recently took a trip outside without obtaining travel voucher which is against the conditions of his probation in a drug and gun conviction case from 2009.
The 28-year-old, born Robert Rihmeek Williams is required to remain in Philadelphia unless otherwise having obtained permission, according to court documents. A judge has thereby ordered the rapper to appear in court for violation of court probation.
