One Piece Great Pirate Colosseum Nintendo 3DS demo finally revealed its release date in Japan. It is expected to arrive on July 27 in Nintendo eShop. Along with the announcement is Bandai Namco’s television ads shown for the first time.
Advertising a game in television has never been done in the history of gaming. However, the game publisher, Bandai Namco, was able to do the bold move recently. They released a one-second advertisement on the nearing game One Piece Great Colosseum.
In the video, several gameplay sequences were shown. Most of the notable villains in the new film series One Piece: Gold are included in the list. One of them is Gildo Tesoro, who is a Casino king, and the most dangerous pirates to oppose with. He is in-charge of the ship named Gran Tesoro, which is the largest entertainment city in the world.
Bandai Namco’s newly released television ad showed Gildo Tesoro’s special fighting technique especially his Goru Goru no Mi. This is a technique wherein he uses his Devil Fruit to manipulate gold at will. He transforms his skin into gold making it indestructible. Not even Zoro’s swords can withstand it. See the video here.
According to Game Transfers, the nearing One Piece Great Pirate Colosseum is a 2D video game with special combos and simple controls. However, there is a matching modern feeling while navigating the world. The players can build a team with their favorite pirates and defeat rivals along the quest.
In addition, they can choose 23 playable characters and more than 80 fighters. By using the special mode of the game, they can sail around the world and establish a fearsome pirate crew.
One Piece Great Pirate Colosseum Nintendo 3DS demo is already scheduled this coming July 27 in Japan. They can download the game via Nintendo eShop.
Bandai Namco also announced its official release date. The video game will officially arrive as a full game on September 21, 2016.
