“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” is slated for release on July 7, 2017 in USA. With many desperate to know more plot details on the movie, Orlando Bloom, who plays the character Will Turner has revealed some interesting updates on the storyline. There are also rumors that Keira Knightley could make a return, even as a cameo in the movie.
“I’m of course Davey Jones now, so I’m down the bottom of the ocean. It might be kind of fun to do something where I’m rumbling round the bottom of the ocean, because I won’t look anything like me. Get all gnarly” Blood said, as reported by IGN.
The 39-year-old actor also mentioned that the plot of Pirates of the Caribbean 5 could revolve around Will Turner’s relationship with his son, to be played by Brenton Thwaites. There might be a possibility that the producers are thinking about a reboot of the entire franchise.
Meanwhile, despite the fans wanting the return of Keira Knightley, it seems that the actress won’t be seen in the franchise anymore. There were certain reports circling regarding her making a cameo appearance, but it seems that Knightley will have other commitments to adhere to.
The mass favorite, Johnny Depp will be reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow. However, according to reports, this might be the final time that viewers will get to see Depp playing the iconic character. Sparrow’s character in Pirates of the Caribbean 5 will be limited and the plot will revolve around Turner and his son Henry, according to Headlines and Global News.
Regarding other characters in Pirates of the Caribbean 5, Geoffrey Rush is rumored to be returning back as Captain Barbossa and Javier Bardem will be cast as the new villain, Captain Brand. Kaya Scodelario will play Carina Smyth, Henry Turner’s love interest in the movie.
