Growing up in Crumlin which is regarded as a crime hotspot, Conor McGregor has come a long way so much so that he has now rented a luxury mansion in Las Vegas to prepare himself ahead of his heavily anticipated fight with Jose Aldo.
The Irish fighter who has risen through the ranks of the world’s biggest mixed martial arts promotion company with six back-to-back victories will meet featherweight world champion Jose Aldo at MGM Grand Garden Area in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
With the fight, McGregor is set to increase his riches by more than $7million (£4.7m) from his night’s work with the challenger also taking home a certain percentage of pay-per-view sales.
McGregor is known to live a lavish lifestyle and with Las Vegas as the perfect setting for glam and glamour, McGregor now has gone ahead and taken up residence in a luxurious Las Vegas mansion in the build-up to his fight.
The Irishman took to Instagram on Tuesday and posted a picture of the mansion alongside the caption: “The new and improved Mac Mansion!”
The impressive six-bedroom home ‘Vegas Views’, renamed the ‘Mac Mansion’ by McGregor, is situated in its own gated 1.5 acre compound on Sunrise Mountain and features spectacular panoramic views of Las Vegas.
The mansion houses custom-made Italian furniture, a 50-foot infinity pool and a luxury 10-person spa overlooking the bright lights of the Vegas strip.
Each bedroom comes complete with its own en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe and a state-of-the-art kitchen, used in filming American TV show ‘Top Chef’.
As far as entertainment is concerned, the mansion features two TVs, video games consoles, an air hockey table and even a disco ball for late-night fun and party.
To prepare McGregor for the fight, the mansion’s gym comes with weights, exercise equipment and a treadmill.
The property also boasts of a barbecue on the pool terrace, a pitch and putt facility in the 1.5 acre compound and a garage large enough to accommodate several limousines if McGregor wants to fly over his entire fleet collection of cars.
