As X Factor Australia 2016 reached the Grand Finale, the judges found themselves in a little argument as the result for the bottom two was revealed.

The top 5 finalist performed twice for the night. For the first part of the competition, the finalists have to perform a killer track that will determine their strength. Followed by that performance is the curveball, a surprising song that showed how versatile they are. The judges will have to choose their singer’s song.

For the curveball, Beatz performed Walk This Way” by Run while Vlado Beatz sang “ Move” by Little Mix. Both her teams have been voted to the bottom two and they had to compete to one another.

“Oh, I’m so upset to see both of these amazing acts in the bottom two. I mean, they are Underdogs and they have worked their butts off, both of them.”

As soon as the result for the bottom two was learned, Mel B got into an little argument with two of the judges. Iggy reckoned that the Beatz performance wasn’t much of a curveball and wished the girls stripped it down and gave a different kind of energy.

“You are so full of beans and I know I was hard on you last night and I said we haven’t really seen much from you on the stripped back level.”

Mel also didn’t see eye to eye with Guy, after he blames her for seeing the same kind of production from the girl group again.

In the end, Vlado secured a spot with his performance of Cold Water by Major Lazer. And Mel B had to say goodbye to her girl group.

“I know how hard these ladies have worked and they have literally given everything time and time and time again.”, Mel B stated as she bid goodbye to her girl group. She went on and added she wanted to be part of their ‘gang’ and that this won’t be the last time they are going to see each other.
