With his high-flying plays, Blake Griffin is arguably considered the most athletic players in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Latest videos of another player showing off his athleticism have produced NBA rumors though that New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis could be more athletic than the Los Angeles Clippers big man.
Porzingis, the 21-year-old forward from Latvia, was featured in ESPN’s Sports Science, “Kristaps Porzingis’ versatile skill set” and had impressive results when compared to other NBA players.
In the agility test, where Porzingis was asked to dribble around three poles, he averaged 2.37 seconds in each pole. This was similar to the agility test scores of Boston Celtics’ Isaiah Thomas (2.33 seconds) and Los Angeles Lakers’ D’Angelo Russell (2.29 seconds), who are both point guards.
In the max vertical test, Porzingis jump was measured at 37.5 feet, which is two inches higher than Griffin, who measured at 35.5 feet.
However, Griffin has more collection of highlights plays as he has already played six seasons with the Clippers. Here are Griffin’s Top 10 dunks in his NBA career:
