The Denver Broncos won over the Indianapolis Colts, 34-20 on Sunday but lost veteran linebacker Demarcus Ware to an arm injury. There were NFL rumors early after he suffered the injury that he’ll be out for the season but the team has announced that he will return in three to four weeks.
Ware also remained positive despite the injury and trusts his teammates to step up to maintain Denver’s defense, which is considered one of the best in the league.

The defending Super Bowl champions are 2-0 so far this season after wins over the Colts this week and the Carolina Panters, 21-20 in their season opener. Defense won it for Denver holding down their opponents in key moments of the game. Denver sacked Colts quarterback Andrew Luck five times on Sunday.
Ware will be out for the Broncos the next four games, against the Cincinnati Bengals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons and San Diego Chargers.
Aside from Ware, the Colts could lose Virgil Green and Donald Stephenson to calf injuries according to the injury report postgame Sunday.
After the injury versus the Colts, there were reports that DeMarcus Ware may need surgery to the forearm injury. But that was quickly debunked with the news that the veteran linebacker will be just out for about a month, meaning he won’t undergo surgery but would just rest and rehab the arm.
