Novak Djokovic of Serbia, the current World No. 1 in tennis will continue to be dominant and play at an “unbelievable level” for the next six years, according to compatriot Viktor Troicki.
Troicki, who is ranked World No. 21 and the second best Serbian in the ATP Tour, shared his thoughts in an interview about Djokovic while in Dubai where the pair is scheduled to play in the 2016 Dubai Tennis Championship.
“I think he can continue to dominate for at least six more years,” Troicki said to khaleejtimes.com about Djokovic’s status in tennis.
Troicki admitted that Djokovic was a “different” player even when he was still a youngster but that the World No. 1 already took the game very seriously at that time.
“[Djokovic] does things differently. He was always a very serious player right from his junior days. He is obviously very talented and very professional. And now he has reached a level where he feels everything is under control,” Troicki added.
“But honestly I don’t know how he does all that. You have to ask him how he feels and how he plays at that unbelievable level. For me just looking at him is amazing. It’s crazy what he does.”
Troicki will open his Dubai campaign against Marcos Baghdatis while Djokovic will face Tommy Robredo in the first round both on Monday.
