Roger Federer and Serena Williams are two of the top tennis players in the world that endorses the Nike shoes brand. Joined by Grigor Dimitrov and Victoria Azarenka, the Nike athletes released their latest shoes recently.
“It should be a successful project for Nike, that has its strength in Nadal and Federer, who are really brands nowadays: Roger earned $455 million from sponsors in the last decade, Nadal $253 million,” Tennis World USA notes.
“Between June 2014 and June 2015, Federer earned $67M from prize money, endorsements, appearances and exhibitions, Dimitrov $7.8M, Serena Williams $24M [and] Nadal $32.5M.”
Nike has been in the headlines recently after cutting ties with controversial athletes Manny Pacquiao in boxing and Maria Sharapova in tennis. Nike let go of Pacquiao after his statements against same sex marriage while Sharapova has been released after her admission to taking illegal drugs.

Williams and Federer are two of the greatest players to play in the sport with both combining 38 Grand Slam titles, 21 for Williams and 17 for Federer, between them.
