Fallout 4 PS4, PC and Xbox One mods were recently released with different updates that certainly spiced up the game action. Albeit the mods’ delay for the new-generation console, fans finally saw a glimpse of how the updates brought changes for the gameplay.
Early this month, Bethesda marketing VP Pete Hines tweeted about the mods’ delayed release. He explained about the reason behind its deferment. He said that the said program has undergone a stricter evaluation ensuring the game’s protection from hackers.
Although he didn’t specify the company he’s referring, studio producer Todd Howard mentioned during the E3 interview about Sony’s stern review for Fallout 4 PS4 mods. According to International Business Times, the company tried to guarantee the platform’s safety from hacking as it’s wounded from a lot of system issues.
And because Sony’s new-generation console has a different system compared to Xbox One and PC, it required a modified version for Fallout 4 mods as it’s running through using an open-source BSD Linux. With that being said, the company has been safeguarding the system free from hackers’ access.
One Angry Gamer detailed the mods that users received using their PS4 consoles when playing Fallout 4. They came as creations by Fadingsignal, Devilswish182, M66rten and Ccmads that included four-legged companion, K-9 harness, comic books, new lifts, and Endless Warfare.
The same source listed different mods which were released recently. The first one comprised tactical body armor for the four-legged companion, Dogmeat, as well as its Police K-9 Unit harness features such as its craftable side pouch, backpack, ballistic weave and faction patches with many color patterns available.
In addition to the mod list, the players can also benefit from Endless warfare wherein they can configure the war zone settings apt for their gaming wishes. The said mod included exterior world space with no spawn markers placed within the interiors of Endless Warfare mod.
The remaining two mods were more on visual improvements like enhancements for comic book covers and configurable lifts under “Structure Elevator” category. The latter can be configured from two through six-storey floor elevators that players can take advantage for the game.
