Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4’s “Road to Boruto” update revealed that Bandai Namco continued Boruto’s saga from the point where Naruto Shippuden ended the story. That means the update itself wished to start from Naruto’s journey until his son, Boruto’s future adventures. Furthermore, the game developer also announced about the new characters’ availability that were only made accessible through pre-order earlier.
Slated for release in February 3 next year, Bandai Namco, the game developer of Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, confirmed during Tokyo Game Show 2016 that the “Road to Boruto” will start from where Naruto’s journey ended in Naruto Shippuden.
From there, the saga will progress based from the Boruto manga. The “Road to Boruto’s” additional content will base from the two iconic Japanese ninja mangas Naruto Shippuden and the Road to Boruto.
In addition, iDigitalTimes reported that Bandai Namco affirmed that players can use the two villains from the Boruto movie namely: Kinshiki and Momoshiki, which were only accessible through pre-orders. During the launching date, they can finally play the game with the two new characters added.
Moreover, they can also play the different locales completing missions through Boruto’s adventure mode. Those who attended Tokyo Game Show 2016, they can play a demo of Sasuke vs Kinshiki.
Generally, players who already pre-ordered will get a first-print limited edition of the physical game that will make up a soundtrack featured in the original game and in the “Road to Boruto” update as well. Aside from that, they can also get a reversible box cover once they receive the pre- game.
