NBA 2K17 League Expansion feature release adds roster customization; Kevin Durant, Dwayne Wade move caused game delay

NBA 2K17 League Expansion feature release updates
Will 2K Sports add roster customization for NBA 2K17 League Expansion feature to allow LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant superteam combo?

Chances of having a super team in an NBA 2K game is possible if 2K Sports added roster customization in NBA 2K17 League Expansion feature. However, 2K Sports didn’t announce regarding customizing rosters yet.

This is just among of the many feature updates fans are waiting for. However, 2K Sports didn’t announce about customizing rosters in the moment. But there might be a possibility. Recently, the 2K Sports senior producer, Erick Boenisch, wrote an invitation for avid players for game suggestions before its release in September.

What every fan should take note at the moment are the new features included in either MyGM or MyLEAGUE modes. Boenisch discussed these features detail by detail in the game’s official Facebook account.

Based on his post, players are given the different set of options in either mode with a guaranteed enjoyment from the game. He stated that the NBA game fans will start with 30-team based on the current structure. From there, they can go higher to 36 teams through League Expansion feature.

They can also opt to form 36 teams immediately depending if they opted for this option or not. If they did, they can do realigned divisions namely: Expansion Teams, Edited/Rebranded NBA teams, Euroleague teams, Classic teams, so on.

Within these two modes under this feature, it is already possible to do varied configurations and an easier expansion process. Hence, changing art assets for team logo, arena, and even the team’s uniforms are customizable.

To completely assist the players during the game, 2K Sports developed a system wherein they can simply see the 10 pre-built fictional franchises to see the complete team designs and download to either MyGM or MyLEAGUE, Boenisch stated.

Speculations about the roster changes popped out. According to iTechpost, there is a high chance for 2K Sports to adapt to the current changes in NBA rosters like Kevin Durant who signed to Golden State Warriors and Dwayne Wade to Chicago Bulls. It is also cited that this is the reason behind the game’s release date delay.
