Seems like Blue Jays fans are at it again with the throwing. Game 5 from last year’s ALDS, fans were apparently became upset because of a controversial call that prompted them to throw beer cans and different objects onto the field.

According to NY Daily News, during Tuesday’s American League Wild Card game between Toronto and the Orioles, Melvin Upton Jr. went left to end the seventh inning of a 2-2 ballgame when suddenly a fan from the bleachers threw a beer can that almost hit Baltimore outfielder Hyun Soo Kim.

It was either to confuse the fielder or intentionally hitting him with the beer can. Kim made the catch then he flinched when he saw the falling object.

Sports Illustrated said that the Orioles manager, Buck Showalter, came out to discuss the incident with the umpires while Orioles center field, Adam Jones, yelled and pointed at the fan.

Things got ugly that cops were seen patrolling the stands. Good thing that both Kim and Jones knew who threw the can.

Meanwhile, the Twitter world didn’t like what they saw from the Blue Jays fans and turn to Twitter about it. Turned out, some of the fans were heard screaming racial slurs towards Kim and Jones.
