With the MLB trade deadline nearing, the Baltimore Orioles are mentioned in MLB trade rumors involving Wade Miley from the Seattle Mariners.
Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports confirms that Baltimore is “taking a hard look” at Miley, who was traded to the Mariners from the Boston Red Sox last December. The 29-year-old Miley also played for the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2011 to 2014.

In his first year with Seattle, Miley has a 4.98 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and just a 7-8 record and he also had an up and down 2015-2016 season for the Mariners.
Seattle is in the playoff race in the American League with 52 wins against 50 losses so far this season. They are eighth in the league and look to close out strong with aims for a postseason slot.
Baltimore needs more production from their pitching crew this season but are fourth in the AL with 58 wins against 45 losses so far. The Orioles trying to improve their bullpen before the MLB trade deadline on August 1 is expected as they want to maintain their status as one of the better teams in the league.
With the Diamondbacks in 2012, Miley showed star potential by making the MLB-All Star team that season. He was traded to the Red Sox in exchange for Rubby De La Rosa, Allen Webster and Raymel Flores.
Miley also signed a rich three-year deal worth $19.25 million in Boston in 2015 and traded him to the Mariners the same year.
