Jon ‘Bones’ Jones to move up to heavyweight. Requests 3 more fights.

The top ranked MMA fighter in the UFC made it clear in his twitter account during a Q&A session with the fans saying that he wants to have 3 more fights in the Light Heavyweight division before he moves up and challenge bigger opponents in the Heavyweight division.

There had been some sources that Jones is set to have a rematch against current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Cormier and it will be announced soon. Cormier was just one of the two fighters that Jones wished for his 3 fights.

Another will be a fight with Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, who beat up Ryan “Darth” Bader in UFC on Fox 18. The win by Johnson earned him a shot at the title after the rumored Jones vs Cormier 2 has been settled.

Last but not the least, Jones wanted to fight Alexander Gustaffson once again before going up to another weight class.

Dubbed as the best fight in UFC history, no one has ever given Jon Jones a beating until he faced Alexander Gustaffson. Clearly after their match, fans wanted to see more and praying for a 2nd Jones vs Gustaffson fight to happen.

With that, after scoring wins with the 3 fighters, Jones would consider fighting at the heavyweight division to consider better challenges.

In the heavyweight division, Jones may be able to match up against the likes of Cain Velasquez, Antonio Silva, Roy Nelson, Stipe Miocic, Alistair Overeem, Junior dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski, Mark Hunt, Ben Rothwell and even the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion, Fabricio Werdum.
