In an expletive-filled radio interview with the MMA Hour, the Super Samoan Mark Hunt vented his frustrations at the UFC and former heavyweight champion and WWE star Brock Lesnar. The blast stems from the drug use controversy surrounding UFC 200, a fight that saw Lesnar beating Hunt in a unanimous decision.
Since the July 9 main event, the Super Samoan has continuously jabbing angry barbs at Lesnar, who tested positive twice for banned drugs. According to the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), Lesnar’s tests showed the use of hydroxyl-clomiphene, a known anti-estrogen agent.
“These f***ing cheaters should go on and die, die in a fire. The whole lot of them.” said Hunt during the radio interview. Hunt has also been critical of the UFC, who still allowed Lesnar to enter the ring despite failing the two drug tests ahead of UFC 200.
Even before the fight, Hunt already suspected Lesnar’s use of illegal substances. He said, “Before the fight I was assuming he was cheating. Look at him. There’s no way that guy makes 265 pounds. That guy is a gimp, he’s sticking needles in his ass like the rest of these cheaters. And the thing about that is, he’s sitting here saying ‘this is a fair place.’ Well, it’s not fair. These guys are cheating and they should be in court for it.”
Further criticizing the UFC, Mark Hunt added, “That’s corrupt sh*t, man. These motherf*ckers should be penalized hard. Dirty, scummy, cheating scum.” He goes on to point out that this is the third time he has fought an opponent who failed a pre-fight administered drug test. Similar situations happened in his draw against Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva and win over Frank Mir.
Under all this, Hunt continues to voice his call for the development of a fighter’s association and threatens legal action if the situation is not corrected. He also opened up about taking his talents elsewhere should there be no movement from the UFC.
