UFC president Dana White confirms Ronda Rousey to fight by the end of the year

Dana White says Ronda Rousey is back in her fighting form and will make her comeback by the end of the year.

UFC president Dana White gave fight fans a reason to celebrate and wait for as he announced that Ronda Rousey is ready to fight and will be making her comeback inside the Octagon by the end of the year.

White broke the huge news over at TMZ Sports TV show. He explained that he had a dinner with Rousey the other night and then dropped the bomb that she is ready to fight and will be ready to take on a challenger, most likely Holly Holm.

“She is [in] a great place…mentally, physically and emotionally every way you can be good, she’s good. She’s talking about coming back at the end of this year. So…she will either comeback in November or December,” White said.

Asked if Rousey is back in his killer form, White responded that she is ready to fight again.

“She’s ready again… She’s ready again…She’s ready to fight,” White added.

Rousey took a huge time off after losing to then bantamweight women’s champion Holly Holm at UFC 193. Following her loss, Rousey went into deep depression publicly admitting that she entertained the thought of suicide.

But the former champ started her road to recovery and speculations opened the idea of a rematch that would have top bill Rousey ready to reclaim her belt, but Holm could not hold on to that title as she lost to Miesha Tate at UFC 196.

Rumors speculated that Rousey would then fight Tate, get her belt and then get her revenge with Holm. But White and the UFC had other plans, as the UFC honcho announced that Rousey is set to face Holm in a rematch minus the title. If she is successful in mounting a revenge on Holm, Rousey will then get a title shot at the current bantamweight women’s champ Tate.

Aside from making her UFC comeback, Rousey has to finish her acting obligations with the film remake of the 80’s film “Road House,” and “Mile 22.”
