When the UFC announced Brock Lesnar’s return to the Octagon the heavyweight division got the needed attention and now UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic wants a piece of Lesnar and rumors are swelling that the champ is down with facing Lesnar once he wins at UFC 200.
Miocic told TMZ that he is happy with the return of The Beast, who is also called the Next Big Thing, and stated that if he ever wins against Mark Hunt in their UFC 200 showdown and wants a crack at his title, he is down on making the fight happen.
“I am totally happy that Brock is back. I am the champ and I have no choice but to fight the best. If ever he wins against Hunt, bring it on,” Miocic said.

He added that the odds are favoring Mark Hunt and hope that Lesnar could last long as he has been inside the Octagon since he walked away from the sport back in 2011. Miocic fought Hunt and beat the Super Samoan and he stated that Hunt evolves so fast as a fighter and that his what Lesnar should worry and look out after during their July 9, meeting at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

UFC president Dana White himself is also pumped up for the Lesnar-Hunt match and told TMZ as well that the ex-champ has been training like there’s no tomorrow and feels “like a million bucks.” He added that the fight will sell out with the way things are going since it will also be part of the main event that will headline Jon Jones against Daniel Cormier for the unification of the light heavyweight title.
