This UFC rumors report is about Eddie Alvarez talking trash about Conor McGregor, and the fighter wanting to fight whoever the UFC wants him to face. Alvarez is the current UFC lightweight champion. He is clearly inviting the big names to fight him based on this UFC rumors.

In his interview with Jon Anik and Kenny Florian, Eddie is believing that McGregor is “not a championship type of a fighter.” Alvarez said this after the Irishman’s recent fight with Nate Diaz.

“I’ve said it from the beginning, I looked at him as a three, 5-minute round fighter and that’s where he’ll be, that’s where he should stay,” the lightweight champion said.

But Eddie still commended Conor’s win against Diaz.

“I think he’s good. I think anything past 8-9 minutes it just starts to look sloppy and looks a little messy,” Alvarez added.

Moreover, Eddie still does not have a scheduled fight since winning his belt against Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC Fight Night in July. But he is optimistic about his chances against every UFC opponent.

“I’m waiting on the UFC. Whoever the UFC wants. I’m waiting to hear from the powers that be. I’ll fight whoever they want next. That’s who’s next,” the American stated.
