The Cleveland Cavaliers ‘Big Three’, LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving, once again proved their dominance in the court after beating the Atlanta Hawks, 100-99, in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Sunday at the Philips Arena.

Kevin Love led the Cavaliers by posting a double-double, 27 points and 13 rebounds, including eight three-pointers. LeBron James added 21 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists and Kyrie Irving had 21 points.

The Hawks did not make it an easy win for the Cavaliers. They battled until the last minute hoping that they would be able to extend the series and advance to the Eastern Conference finals. However, the situation seemed to be not in their favor after getting beaten by only one point.

In the first quarter, the Hawks seemed to be in control of the game after posting 36 points. They ended the first half with 58-56 despite the Cavaliers outstanding performance in the three-point range. They managed to take the lead in the remaining minutes of the game with the aid of Dennis Schroeder 6-0 run to give the Hawks a one-point lead.

However, in the last seconds of the game, LeBron James emerged for the Cavaliers after releasing crucial jumpers resulting for the game to turn to their favor. It was the 2nd consecutive year that the Cleveland Cavaliers swept the Atlanta Hawks in the post season.

The NBA finals is within reach for the Cleveland Cavaliers after the heartbreaking injury suffered by the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat in Game 3 of their playoff series. Miami heat center Hassan Whiteside and Jonas Valanciunas are still questionable if they will be available to play in the remaining games of their playoff series. The winner between the Heat and Raptors will be facing the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have reached the Eastern Conference finals unscathed after sweeping opponents in the first and second round.
