LeBron James faces the Golden State Warriors for the second straight year in the NBA Finals and according to NBA rumors, the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar is feeling the pressure of winning the title for Cleveland this year.

The Warriors beat the Cavaliers, 4-2 in last year’s NBA Finals but Cleveland suffered injuries to other players in their “Big Three” in power forward Kevin Love and point guard Kyrie Irving. With both expected to be healthy in this year’s finals match-up against the Warriors, the pressure is on the Cavaliers and LeBron James to finally get a ring for Cleveland.

According to Chris Chase of Fox Sports, there is a huge pressure on LeBron James’ shoulders to win against the Warriors:

“If he doesn’t bring Cleveland a title, his career will be remembered more for that fact than any other,” Chase wrote in a recent article.

LeBron James stated in interviews that it’s “stupid” that they are the underdogs in the finals vs. the Warriors. The NBA rumors of having a huge pressure for the Cavaliers stars is not new because of his disappointing results in the past championship series.

Cleveland has a better record than Golden State in the 2016 NBA Playoffs with 12 wins against just two losses so far in the postseason. The Warriors are 12-5 and was in danger of getting eliminated by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the West Finals.

However, it’s LeBron James who’s feeling the pressure because of his failure in past NBA Finals appearances. He has won just 2 of 3 in the championship series and those two titles came when he was playing with his “superfriends” Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013.

There are also NBA rumors that LeBron James will leave Cleveland again if they don’t win a title this season. The Cavaliers must beat the Warriors or they have to deal with the speculations of James leaving again this summer.
