Ben Simmons and Kris Dunn team up in Sixers

Ben Simmons finally confirms working out with Philadelphia 76ers. However, many of the NBA fans doubt if he can really work well with Kris Dunn. At the moment, the Sixers are eyeing another NBA draft for their team.

Ben Simmons’ confirmation on joining Sixers is hinted in his latest Instagram post with an image of him shooting captioned, “Trust the process.”

NBA fans think seeing Ben Simmons playing with Brandon Ingram is great. For them, it is seamless fit. As the NBA draft is getting closer, Philadelphia 76ers hints they’re more interested with Kris Dunn than Ingram for their team.

There are several reasons why the fans think they’re not bringing good fortune to the Sixers. They feel like they both bring disaster for the team if they’re seen playing together in the court for the next NBA season.

Primarily, they’re non-shooters. This is the major risk Sixers needs to deal with these two drafts.

The Sixer Sense mentions it might cause spacing issues between Ben Simmons and Kris Dunn. According to the source, the latter gradually improves his shooting skill since his freshman season with 37.2 percent from 3-point range.

For a starter player, this is already a good number like any other NBA players. In fact, Dunn shoots better than any other professional players in the league. When compared to Simmons, he is better.

Nonetheless, Ben Simmons and Kris Dunn combined skills will create somewhat a balance with Simmons’ more set and wide open shots and Dunn’s elite shooting skills.

Probably, the two will give more hopes on Philadelphia 76ers’s improved game in the next season given their impressive statistics.

Ben Simmons averaged 19.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.0 steals in the last season, according to Philly. On the other hand, Kris Dunn has 16.4 points,  5.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists.
