The New York Knicks want to maintain their momentum on Friday as they visit the shorthanded Boston Celtics at the TD Garden. Here are all the things you need to know for the game including preview and TV schedule, as well as Knicks vs. Celtics live stream links.
Knicks vs. Celtics Preview
The Knicks (3-4) are coming off an impressive 110-96 win against cross-town rivals Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. Carmelo Anthony led the Knickerbockers with 22 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.
New York was down early in the first half but they were able to take control in the second half with the help of Anthony. Kristaps Porzingis added 21 points, eight rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocked shots.
Derrick Rose, Courtney Lee and Willy Hernangomez all scored in double figures as the Knicks win their third of the season. On the other hand, the Celtics (3-4) are in a slump as they come into this game with a three-game losing streak.
The Celtics are without two of their starters, Al Horford and Jae Crowder, due to injuries. Horford is still under the NBA’s concussion protocol and he is not expected to play against the Knicks. As for Crowder, he is out due to an ankle injury since the first week of the season.
Boston is coming off a blowout loss to the lowly Washington Wizards on Wednesday. It comes off the heels of another blowout defeat at home against the Denver Nuggets last Sunday. Many consider the Celtics as the second-best team in the East this season but their record says otherwise.
