The Utah Jazz has interest on Luol Deng and Solomon Hill
The Utah Jazz is doing a safe mode in the coming free agency season as they will not go after those players who would eat up their cap space, rather the Jazz is focusing on all-around players such as Luol Deng of the Miami Heat and Solomon Hill of the Indiana Pacers.

The Los Angeles Lakers have been spurned by Kevin Durant in free agency but they have a “Plan B” ready with the latest Lakers rumors stating that Nicolas Batum is set to fly from Paris to the U.S. to meet with the team from Hollywood.

Brad Turner of the LA Times first reported the possible Lakers and Batum meeting later this week. NBA free agency opens July 1 and teams can start officially talking to free agents to convince them of signing with their respective teams.

Earlier Lakers rumors had the team linked to Durant but the Oklahoma City Thunder reportedly cut down his list to six teams and this does not include the Lakers. Durant wants to play for a title contender and Los Angeles is on a rebuilding mode after suffering from their worst regular season record in franchise history in the 2015-2016 season.

The Lakers are expected to move on from Durant and target other top free agents in the market. This includes Batum, who is an unrestricted free agent after playing last year for the Charlotte Hornets.

Batum, who averaged 14.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists last year, was with the Portland Trail Blazers from 2008 to 2015 before being traded last season to the Hornets.

Lakers rumors has the team linked to other free agents like Hassan Whiteside, Al Horford and Mike Conley. With money to spend this summer, the Lakers could be back in playoff contention if they can get Batum and other top free agents in 2016 free agency.
