The Golden State Warriors are looking for revenge against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day. However, the Warriors might be without Draymond Green when they visit Cleveland. Green is back at home in the Bay Area for the birth of his son.

Draymond Green welcomes Draymond Jr. to the world

According to NBA.com, Draymond Green might miss the next three games for the Warriors. It is because of the birth of his son, Draymond Jr., last Thursday morning. He missed the game against the Brooklyn Nets on the same day, as well as the games at Detroit and Cleveland.

Draymond Jamal Green Jr. is the 26-year-old’s second child with his girlfriend, Jelissa Hardy. The couple had a daughter named Kyla, who is already eight years old. The Green family currently resides in the Bay Area.

Warriors might face the Cavaliers without Draymond Green

The Warriors blew a 3-1 lead back in the NBA Finals. They will get their chance for revenge on Christmas Day when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, Golden State could be without Green as his status for the game is questionable, per Yahoo! Sports.

The Cavaliers, on the other hand, are already short-handed heading into the Christmas Day showdown with the Warriors. Center Chris Andersen is out for the season due to a knee injury while J.R. Smith is set to undergo surgery to repair a fractured thumb.

No Draymond Green, No Problem

The Warriors’ first game without Green was on Thursday when they visited the Brooklyn Nets. Golden State was down 14 points early but they were able to come back and win with a score of 117-101. The Warriors visit the Pistons on Friday before heading to Cleveland for the rematch.
