The 2016 NBA Draft is just a week away with the Philadelphia 76ers having the first overall pick and the chance to select an important piece in turning around their franchise. According to the latest NBA draft rumors, the Sixers are still undecided on who to pick between Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram.

Simmons and Ingram are arguably the top two prospects in this year’s rookie class and the Sixers are having a hard time to decide who will be the first overall selection. Ingram recently had a workout for Philadelphia while Simmons chose not to have any workouts with any team.

Sixers general manager Bryan Colangelo recently spoke with ESPN about the team’s decision for the upcoming draft. He was asked about whom they will choose between Simmons and Ingram.

“It changes every day,” Colangelo answered. He also had big praise for Ingram, the 18-year-old Duke product who recently worked out for the team.

“He is a versatile forward that can handle the ball, shoot the ball. He is a silky-smooth small forward,” he said. On the other hand, the Sixers GM also called out Simmons’ agent, Rich Paul, about the LSU player not working out with the team.

However, the former NBA Executive of the Year also hinted that they will likely select Simmons with the first overall pick. “Everything that we get with our intel as it relates to Ben is that he would very much like to be selected No. 1,” Colangelo said.

According to several mock drafts, Simmons is still the favorite to be selected first overall. He tops the mock drafts of FOX Sports, Draft Express, CBS Sports and USA Today while Ingram only topped the Sports Illustrated mock draft.
