NBA Highlights and Scores: Heat, Thunder net close wins with big games from Wade, Bosh, Durant and Westbrook

NBA Scores for February 3, 2016 – The Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder netted close wins over separate opponents on Wednesday.

Miami Heat 93, Dallas Mavericks 90

Chris Bosh had 20 points while Dwyane Wade recovered from a bad shooting first half and finished with 18 points to lead the Miami Heat to a road victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

The Heat improved to 28-22 for the year and have now won four of their last five games. Dallas has suffered back-to-back losses and has lost five of their last six games.

Miami finishes a three-game road trip on Friday when they visit the Charlotte Hornets while Dallas hosts Texas rivals San Antonio Spurs in their next game.

Oklahoma City Thunder 117, Orlando Magic 114

Kevin Durant saved the Oklahoma City Thunder by making a long three-pointer with less than a second left in the game.


Durant had 37 points and Russell Westbrook added a triple double of 24 points, 19 rebounds and 14 assists to lead the Thunder to their fifth straight win. Enes Kanter came off the bench to score 13 points and grab 7 rebounds.

Magic guard Victor Oladipo matched Durant’s 37 points but the Magic couldn’t pull off the upset win despite a 114-112 lead with 40 seconds to go in the game.

Orlando has lost 10 of their last 11 games and will host the Los Angeles Clippers and Atlanta Hawks in their next two games.

Meanwhile, OKC will face the Golden State Warriors on Friday.
