Dwyane Wade suddenly became a hot commodity in free agency after he turned down the Miami Heat’s offer and entertained teams such as the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs. According to the latest NBA rumors, the Milwaukee Bucks can sign Wade to a contract if they can only find a taker for Greg Monroe.

The 34-year-old superstar reportedly received a very insulting offer from the Heat that resulted to him seeking other options. It was initially believed that the Knicks, Spurs, and Chicago Bulls are the favorites to sign Wade but they are no longer interested, ESPN reported.

However, teams like the Denver Nuggets and Milwaukee Bucks emerged as possible new teams for the three-time NBA champion. According to CBS Sports, the Nuggets can offer Wade an annual salary of $20 million while the Bucks can also offer the same thing but if they can trade Greg Monroe.

Some of the possible destinations for Monroe include the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trail Blazers. The Mavericks have stuck out on players such as Hassan Whiteside and Dwight Howard while the Celtics, Pelicans, and Blazers are all looking for more firepower on offense.

Of course, the Miami Heat are still in the running since they will not be signing Kevin Durant. Pat Riley can go back to the drawing board and convince his superstar to return. Wade has spent his entire career in Miami and it would be disappointing if he will finish it with the Nuggets or Bucks.

Nonetheless, Wade would love to get paid as much as possible because his career is coming to a close and he also sacrificed a lot of money to get LeBron James to Miami in 2010. If he leaves the Heat, the Bucks have the advantage over the Nuggets.

Milwaukee is a borderline playoff team with head coach Jason Kidd and players such as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker. The city is also closer to his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
