Several NBA trade rumors have been swirling around the Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love in the past months. According to the latest rumor, Love will be traded to the Miami Heat for Goran Dragic, Justise Winslow, and Josh McRoberts.

After winning their first NBA championship title, LeBron James wants the Cleveland Cavaliers to bring back the key players behind their recent achievement. This is proved by how he’s pushing the Cavaliers to immediately re-sign their shooting guard, J.R. Smith. ‘The King’ also denied that they will be breaking their ‘Big Three’ before the trade deadline.

Of all the Cavs players, Kevin Love has been frequently mentioned in various trade rumors, saying that his performance in the recent NBA Finals was not satisfactory. The 28-year-old power forward finally speaks up and said that he will not be leaving the Cavaliers.

“That’s just something that you live with,” Love said. “We have so much hype and media and the good and the bad surrounding this team and it just comes with the territory. So, I love this team, love the coaching staff, my teammates, the organization. I mean, I don’t think it will ever leave but frankly, I don’t really give a s—.”

However, another rumor popped up that Kevin Love will be heading to the Miami Heat. In the trade scenario, the Heat will be sending Goran Dragic, Justise Winslow, and Josh McRoberts to the Cleveland Cavaliers for the All-Star power forward. This works on the ESPN trade machine.

At some point, it is easy to explain why a superstar like Love was linked to the Heat as they recently lost two of their main men this offseason. Dwyane Wade decided to end his career in Miami to play for the Chicago Bulls while Chris Bosh is still sidelined due to blood clot issues.

Despite the criticisms, Kevin Love averaged 16 points and 9.9 rebounds per game last season. He can also hit three-pointers, making him the perfect replacement for Chris Bosh. However, there is no way that Pat Riley will pay that much, especially if their projected starting point guard, Goran Dragic, will be included in the trade.

The same with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who stood firm with their decision to retain their starters. As of now, NBA fans should take this rumor with a grain of a salt. Should the Cavaliers and the Heat engage in a trade deal, it will be for the benefit of both teams in filling up the needs to improve on their roster.
