Rumors and speculations are continuing to swirl around the Chicago Bulls regarding their offseason plans for their stars Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler, who are reported to be on the trading block.

The trade rumors about Derrick Rose-Nerlens Noel exchange continue to surface in different sports websites which many think that would be a bad decision for the Bulls’ management. According to Joe Cowley of Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Bulls’ president of basketball operations John Paxson and general manager Gar Forman will be looking for a quality point guard in the NBA draft. Not only because Derrick Rose will be entering his final year, but also because they do not have faith that Rose will still be fit for coach Fred Hoiberg’s system.

However, coach Fred Hoiberg seemed to feel the opposite way for Derrick Rose. Hoiberg praised Rose for his willingness to accept a new system. He also reminded the former MVP regarding the areas of improvement both offensively and defensively.

“It is important,’’ Hoiberg said when asked about the constant communication he had to have with Rose. “He and I watch clips before the game, sometimes five to 10 minutes before we meet as a group with 32 minutes before the game, just show him the things I think are important. Clips from the previous game I think he needs to improve on, show some positive clips that he can build on.’’

Also, the Bulls management’s decision to look for a quality point guard in the 2016 NBA draft have a slim chance since there are only limited players fitted for the role.

According to Brandon Pence of Bulls Zone, there are loyal Bulls’ fans who believed that the team should still build the team with Derrick Rose as the focus player. Some also stated that the Bulls should move Jimmy Butler while his value is still high.

One of the teams that are longing to acquire Jimmy Butler are the Boston Celtics. Celtics owner Danny Ainge believes that acquiring Butler would lead to a higher chance to lure Kevin Durant to revive the Kevin Garnett-Ray Allen tandem in Boston in 2007.

The Boston Celtics has a starter and the third overall pick to offer to acquire Jimmy Butler. The 2016 NBA Draft have many potential players that can help the Chicago Bulls to rebuild their team. The Bulls should think twice before declining the ‘once in a lifetime’ offer made by the Celtics.

However, until July, more rumors are expected to surround the league since there are all NBA teams are hoping to improve their respective teams next season.
