NBA trade rumors has continued to put the trio of Sacramento Kings’ Rudy Gay, Kosta Koufus and Ben McLemore on the trading block. Which contenders can target one of the three players to help them in their campaign next season?

James Ham of reported on Twitter that Gay, Koufus and McLemore are all available for trades although the Kings want some value with any deal they make this 2016 offseason:

Which contenders will be targeting any of the three players from the Kings’ line-up?

NBA Trade Rumors: Kosta Koufus to Cleveland Cavaliers?

This makes sense because the Cavaliers need front court help after Timofey Mozgov left for the Los Angeles Lakers in free agency. The Cavaliers can offer Iman Shumpert plus a future pick to convince the Kings to a deal.

The Cavaliers can use a big man like Koufus, who played in limited minutes for the Kings last season. He started in 14 of 78 games and averaged 6.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and nearly 1 block in 19.0 minutes per game in the 2015-2016 NBA Season.

The Cavs will feature Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love mainly in their front court but for the regular season, they can use a big man like Koufus, who is also known for his scoring and rebounding. It’s only expected that NBA trade rumors will link the Cavaliers to big man prospects in the free agency market.

Mozgov had value with the Cavaliers but he lost playing time when head coach Tyron Lue started using Thompson as the center.

Mozgov went to the Lakers on a $16 million per year deal and Koufus will be a cheaper option if they want another big man. And with NBA trade rumors that Koufus is available for trade, should the defending champions Cavaliers grab the opportunity in getting the big man?
