Eric Bledsoe was on his way to the best season of his career when he underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee on December 29, 2015. According to the latest NBA rumors, Bledsoe may be traded by the Suns this offseason with Cleveland as the possible destination.
The 26-year-old guard averaged 20.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 2.0 steals before suffering the knee injury. The Suns only won a total of 11 games since Bledsoe went down with the injury. It should be noted he suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee at the end of 2013.
According to NBADraft.net, Klutch Sports Group founder Rich Paul is reportedly pushing for a trade that will get Bledsoe out of Phoenix. Besides the Suns guard, Paul represents stars such as LeBron James, John Wall and top prospect, Ben Simmons.
The Suns have four picks in this year’s NBA draft including the 4th, 13th, and 28th overall selections. They are reportedly high on providence guard Kris Dunn and could draft him with the fourth overall pick if he’s still available.
But if ever Phoenix decides to trade Bledsoe, one of the possible destination is Cleveland in exchange for power forward Kevin Love. Chad Ford of ESPN recently suggested a complicated three-team deal involving the Suns, Cavaliers, and New York Knicks.
However, Tate Frazier of The Ringer suggested a more realistic trade between the Cavaliers and Suns. He thinks that Phoenix can pull off a trade by sending Eric Bledsoe and T.J. Warren to Cleveland for Kevin Love.

Bledsoe’s health is still a big risk while Warren has good upside while Love’s value took a hit during his NBA Finals run. However, Love was very vital in the Cavs’ Game 7 win and he’s a perfect power forward in today’s game.
The 2016 NBA Draft is just several days away so expect teams such as the Suns and Cavs to be active. The Cavaliers may have the NBA title but they will have a lot of decisions to make this offseason if they want to repeat as champions.
