It’s no secret that the Sacramento Kings has been trying to trade Rudy Gay for the past couple of months. According to the latest NBA rumors, the Atlanta Hawks could acquire Gay, as well as guard Ben McLemore, from the Kings.

In an interview with Sactown Royalty, the 29-year-old forward revealed that he is unhappy with the Kings front office. However, he only has good words for the fans in Sacramento, who continue to support the team despite all the issues they had.

According to Tom Atkinson of Soaring Down South, the Atlanta Hawks should make a trade for the Kings’ Rudy Gay. He noted that the Hawks are in need of a wing that is capable of creating his own shots just like Gay.

Atkinson suggested three possible trades including a crazy four-team trade that also involves the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. It is a very complicated deal and it may not even be considered by the four teams.

On the other hand, Atkinson’s two other deals might be enough to get Gay from Sacramento. The first is Atlanta sending Tiago Splitter, the rights to Isaia Cordier and conditional first-round pick from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The second suggestion is the Hawks acquiring Gay and Ben McLemore for Splitter, Thabo Sefolosha, Mike Muscala and the conditional pick from Minnesota. It should be noted that these are just NBA rumors but Gay is really on the trading block.

The Kings will likely want to get rid of Gay and McLemore, as well as Kosta Koufos. They probably would want a point guard in return rather than a couple of big men.

Besides the Hawks, past NBA rumors have also linked Rudy Gay with teams such as the Brooklyn Nets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Indiana Pacers, and Chicago Bulls. The forward has a player option for the 2017-18 season, but he is expected to become a free agent and look for one last big contract.
