Chris Bosh is still questionable to play for the Miami Heat for the 2016-17 NBA season because of his blood clot issues. According to the latest NBA rumors, the Heat will be trading Bosh to the Phoenix Suns for Eric Bledsoe and Dragan Bender.

In 2015, the Miami Heat suffered a huge loss after Chris Bosh was diagnosed with blood clots. This affected the Heat’s playoff run when Bosh was unable to play in most games of the 2016 NBA playoffs. Recently, Barry Jackson of Miami Herald reported that there is a growing optimism in Miami that Bosh will be allowed to play next season.

However, there are speculations that the Heat is afraid to take the risk, not only for his long-term health but also for any complications he could possibly experience if he forced himself to play. Chris Bosh remains frustrated on how the Heat is handling the situation.

With the growing gap between Bosh and the Heat, trade rumors started to circulate in Miami. According to Michael Saenz of Sir Charles In Charge, the Heat should trade, Chris Bosh if he is cleared to play and proven healthy. One of the possible trade destinations is the Phoenix Suns.

The Phoenix Suns have succeeded to create a young roster with Devin Booker at the center. However, some people see problems with guards Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight that hinder the development of Booker.

In a suggested trade scenario, the Phoenix Suns could explore a trade package centered on Eric Bledsoe. Adding another young piece like Dragan Bender will make the Miami Heat agree to trade a healthy Chris Bosh.

Bosh will provide a veteran presence in the Sun’s frontcourt being the mentor of Marquese Chriss and Alex Len. Releasing one of their ball-dominant players will give Devin Booker more chance to develop into a superstar.

Chris Bosh could be a huge loss in Miami since Dwyane Wade left them in free agency. However, with their goal of creating a young roster, trading Bosh for Eric Bledsoe and Dragan Bender will be vital in the succeeding years.
