Gregg Popovich is well known for his mind games even before the battle starts on the court. In one of the recent NBA rumors that will surely affect some of the San Antonio Spurs rivals, the veteran head coach was caught on camera saying to Toronto Raptors coach Dwayne Casey that his team is good enough to reach the NBA Finals this year, and that means no LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the championship round.
Popovich’s post-game comments is one of the hottest topics in the NBA this week as a few analysts and fans speculated about what the Spurs head coach said to his counterpart.
Looks like Pop told Raptors coach Dwayne Casey "I think you're getting to the finals. I swear to God no bullsh*t" https://t.co/ydPlveC0O1

NBA bloggers commented on the same video as “Coach Pop” shook the hands of Casey after the Spurs-Raptors game last Monday to spur the NBA rumors. San Antonio beat Toronto, 102-95 in that game and it appears that Popovich was impressed with the Raptors effort despite the loss for the Canadian team.
With the playoff picture starting to clear up at this point of the season, NBA rumors like these are expected as coaches like Popovich are starting to scout potential opponents in the playoffs. If the Raptors have a deep run, including beating the Cavaliers in the East Finals, the Spurs can meet them in the NBA Finals, if the Spurs also go deep and beat the Golden Warriors in a possible meeting in the West Finals.
