Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram are the two top projected picks of the Thursday’s NBA Draft. Jaylen Brown could be the No. 3 overall pick if Boston Celtics take a shot at him.
Brown has impressed the experts and scout with his intriguing raw athleticism, which was revealed in the eyeball test. Jaylen Brown is another fascinating prospect in this edition of NBA Draft. The California forward is drawing interests from many NBA teams.
The Sixers and the Lakers own the top two picks and are expected to select Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram. Boston has the third pick, and can roll the dice to pick Brown.
Multiple computer models suggest something different about Brown. If the result shows the forward will struggle to establish himself in the professional league.
But ESPN’s Draft guru Chad Ford has raised Brown to No. 3 position in his latest mock draft. The 19-year-old has posted stellar show in the pre-draft workouts recently with multiple teams.
Despite having a shaky freshman season, Brown might have the highest ceiling for any player available when Celtics roll the dice on the Draft night, according to the ESPN.
Jamal Murray, Kris Dunn, Dragan Bender and Marquese Chriss will also be on the cards for a team which owns the third overall pick.
“I’m a big believer that it takes 20,000 hours to be great”, Brown said recently. And Celtics head coach Brad Stevens would love to hear it from a kid.
