Rumors and speculations are now swirling around the Los Angeles Clippers and the Boston Celtics who are reportedly having trade talks involving Blake Griffin. However, there are reports coming from a ‘high-level source’ saying that “there’s no truth to any of it.”
According to Keith Smith of RealGM, the trade deal will be involving the Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Clippers. Blake Griffin goes to Celtics, Kings will get Jae Crowder and the Clippers will acquire Rudy Gay. The trade deal will also be involving two first-round picks that the Boston Celtics own from the Brooklyn Nets.
To clarify my earlier tweet: BOS would get Griffin, LAC would get Gay and SAC would get Crowder. Other pieces also involved.

The deal seemed to be nearing to be finalized but there are contradicting reports saying that there is not truth to the trade rumors. According to Dan Woike of Orange County Registers, the Blake Griffin to Boston Celtics trade rumor is not true.
Also in regards to Blake Griffin-Celtics stuff, high-level source says "there's no truth to any of it."

“The Clippers don’t seem interested in cutting loose a star; earlier this summer, they met with Kevin Durant with the hope of adding him as the fourth star in their mix. Doc Rivers, the Clippers coach and president of basketball operations proclaimed that the Clippers weren’t trading Blake Griffin before last season’s trade deadline. The moves he’s made this summer, re-signing veterans like Jamal Crawford and Wesley Johnson signal the Clippers’ commitment to winning now.’
‘If the Clippers could swap Griffin for one of the NBA’s elite two-way wing players or a package of players no team could refuse, perhaps their thinking would change. For now, though, the Clippers are on the path of trying to bolster the core they already have.” Dan Woike wrote.
Sean Deveney of Sporting News said that there were opposing front office members that do not want to give up either Brooklyn picks Boston can own in the next two years. However, there are speculations that the two first-round picks would be the key elements for the Celtics to acquire a superstar in their team.
The Boston Celtics became ‘very aggressive’ to acquire a superstar for their team this summer. There are rumors that the Celtics are also going after Russell Westbrook, DeMarcus Cousins and Kevin Love. However, it seems like they cannot close a deal yet despite having plenty of trade assets in their team.
