Jared Dudley, a former player for the Milwaukee Bucks, claims that his former team has crowned Giannis Antetokounmpo as the “franchise player” when he left the team two years ago Could the veteran’s statement mean that the Bucks will actively trade other star players like Jabari Parker or Khris Middleton?

“It’s Giannis’ team,” Dudley said via a Zach Lowe podcast to add to the NBA trade rumors that the Bucks are looking for deals before the season begins or during the regular season.

“You’re only going to go as far as him. Once Jabari [Parker] takes that next step — he was a lot better second half than he was first — but as of right now, people have to know this is Giannis’ team. You fall in line to try to make people better around him.”

The Bucks trading Jabari Parker is improbable at this point as they want to see him grow his game alongside Antetokounmpo.

However, he has the most value in the Milwaukee roster and the Bucks could jump at any deal that could net them multiple players that can fit alongside the Greek star.

The Bucks are likely to deal others first like Greg Monroe or Michael Carter-Williams, both of whom are reportedly on the trading block.

Monroe has two years left in his deal with about $35 million left and Carter-Williams will become a restricted free agent after the 2016-2017 NBA Season.

The core in Milwaukee will be Antetokounmpo, Parker and Middleton and head coach Jason Kidd will try to ride the trio again and watch for their development.

If it does not work out for the Bucks early next season, look out for NBA trade rumors involving some of the big names in the team.
